Way!

It has been a fun and extremely busy week!

Barrett has had soccer camp this week and Friday (I guess technically, today) will be the last one for this session.  It has been a bit of a distance to the north, so we have done some traveling and have also visited Lagoon twice this week, directly after the soccer camp was over for the day.  Barrett has a friend that attends with him, and it has been so nice to carpool and have a friend to be familiar with among all the new faces.  His friend has a Lagoon pass also, so it has been extra fun!

This is what they look like when they get to our house after a day of soccer camp and Lagoon.  In this picture they are watching Looney Tunes.  I don't know if you can see the dirt and grass stains on their shirts and bodies, but it is there!!  And they don't care!!

Lucy has had a soccer tournament this week.  It has been hard because they have been short-handed for both of the games so far.  But, even being short-handed, they have WON both games!!  YEAH!  And today, Lucy had two goals!!
This is after Wednesday's game.
They played with only 9 players, and still WON!

The above picture is after tonight's game.
They played with only 10 players, and still won!
There are 11 players in the picture, but the one on the far right has an ankle injury from Wednesday's game and couldn't play tonight.

This is what Lucy looks like after she scores TWO awesome goals!
YEAH!!

After her game, we quickly grabbed some dinner and then we had some mother-daughter fire dragon bonding time together!
We only had 30 minutes in the park before they closed.
But we made it count!
And we got a great cardio workout in at the same time by running from ride to ride!
We were on the last run of the night for this ride!

So, except for offending lots of soccer people, it has been a pretty great week.  I must say that I am extremely thankful for this beautiful place that we live in and the blessings we have because our fathers were willing to pay the high price for those blessings they wanted us to have.
