More Movie Updates

So, Parker got to go back again yesterday, which was Saturday, to do some more stand in scenes. He has really enjoyed this a lot. He especially enjoyed working very closely with an actor named Nick who is very tall, about 6'5", and 17 years old. Nick was very kind to Parker. Nick also played a character from the movie "Sky High". He was a sidekick and he had glowing super powers and blonde hair in that movie.

The producers and directors were very partial to Parker and the way he was so animated for the humorous scenes that he was in. It was wonderful to see how kind and patient all of the crew was. The worked together very well and were not sarcastic with each other. This was a good lesson for me to see as I have a tendancy to be sarcastic and impatient.

Parker is on a first name basis with the producers and directors and they have our phone number to call again if they need us. Parker wrote thank you notes to the three main characters and the directors and producers. Christopher, one of the main producer guys, told me that he thought that Parker's note was very cute and that he appreciated it very much. It is very fun to hear everyone on the sets saying Parker's name and hear them talking about him on their walkie talkies. Christopher also gave me a call sheet from the day. It will go in Parker's memory box.

I am so grateful that they do not shoot on Sundays!

Stephanie got to be an extra all day on Friday, dressed in her 50's costume. She had to dance with a guy that was TOTALLY NOT interested in dancing and whom she had to show how to place his hands to slow dance with her. She also said that he was very stinky, both breath and body odor! Since she danced with him in the first few takes, she had to dance with him in all the takes and actually had to track him down to get him to finish the scene with him. She was glad when that scene was done. It was a bit of a change for her to be known as "Parker's Sister" instead of him being known as "Stephanie's brother". People on the set also know her as "The girl with the funky glasses", because she wore my pink 50's costume glasses for the 50's scenes that she did. She was sooooo darling as "Gladys"! Stephanie will go back next Saturday.
