Hat Trick Harry, Rosie Roo and Missionary Mania

So, Barrett is playing with some other boys from his team in a Christmas tournament.  They have won the first two games, and Barrett has had a hat trick in both games.  It has been pretty fun, so far.

The tournament has also been a good diversion for me.  With Parker's farewell coming up on Sunday, I have been feeling pretty crazy!  The house is in a pretty crazy state of being with the holidays just past.  The room we have gatherings in has been in MAJOR disarray.  We did get that cleaned today, mostly.  So that has been a large relief today! 

Right now we are doggie sitting for our friends.  We have the pleasure of having Rosie at our home until tomorrow.  She is still a puppy in many ways.  I think she is about 10 months old.  She belongs to Tyson and Wrandi H..  She is Daisy's niece.  We have really enjoyed having her here.  She is a golden retriever, and unlike her auntie Daisy, she finds places to lay down that are NOT in the middle of the walk way!!  She really relates to Barrett, I think because they are both about the same age, relative to dog years.  They are both still puppies.  She is beautiful and we are having a great time with her!

Wish us luck with pulling off a farewell, so close to Christmas and the new year!  We'll need it, for sure!  Thanks to Robert's parents and my family for being willing to bring food!  I love you guys!
