Any ideas what this is?

Yeah. I see this almost every night when I get into bed. Sometimes I come very close to squishing it.

I think it is one of the funniest things I see on a regular basis.

Why half way? Is the back side much warmer and in need of a draft that the cover of the bed doesn't provide? Some day I hope to know the answer to these questions.

Until then, I will smile when I see this goofy dog relaxing.
